Where We Land

Two longtime rivals drunkenly bind themselves together and begin sharing their strongest emotions. What starts as magical disaster forces them to confront a harder problem than honesty: learning where one person ends, where the other begins, and what they are willing to share anyway. Where We Land uses an emotional bond to explore intimacy without erasure, asking how two people can be deeply changed by one another without losing themselves in the process.

Where We Land is an adult cozy fantasy romance about an exacting apothecary and the loud magic-shop owner she’s spent seven years trying not to murder from across Main Street, until one drunken bet leaves them trapped in a six-month magical binding spell they can’t undo. Forced to share an apartment and navigate a bond that lets them feel each other’s strongest emotions, they have to survive small-town gossip, clashing habits, and the uncomfortable realization that the person each of them dismissed might be the one who sees them most clearly. Set in a charming magical town full of festivals, rival storefronts, and found-family warmth, it’s about two people discovering that love can arrive through chaos, but it only becomes real through routine, repair, and choice.

"Where We Land is a classic enimes-to-lovers story with a magical twist in a fantastical setting. It is also a realistic and relatable story of the very honest and often difficult work that goes into building real trust and intimacy with a partner." - Melanie K.
